A Busy Week

It’s been a busy week, aside from editing the book, last week saw the launch of the Blog Awards which was hosted by Glenisk at their pop up shop in Dublin. The food was scrumptious and everyone seemed to really enjoy it.

Blog Awards Launch

Home then and we had to check all of the blog awards nominations to doublecheck they were in the right category, were a blog, that the link worked and that they were Irish. After a few hours of doing it, I could hardly see and there were still loads to do! I took Sunday off to head to the Tullamore Show but the work was still waiting when I got back. The long list was published on Monday evening to much excitement. Next up is getting the allocations to the judges.

The kids are going to a tennis club this week, 2 hours a day, and are enjoying it. Being 20 minutes from town, it really isn’t worthwhile returning home so I’ve shopped, met a friend for coffee and we gave each other business tips, edited some of the book over a cappucino in a hotel today and today I’m meeting a website designer. I gave Brian some sections of the book to read today and he laughed out loud at some new lines which was good news for me!

As someone who has played tennis since the age of three and loved every single minute of it (both playing and coaching), I’m thrilled to read that your kids are getting immersed in what is a game of a life time this week. Better still to hear that they are enjoying it. I now have a son (18) who is as passionate about it as I was/am and is making soooooooo many friends through it ~ had one staying here last night!
Good luck with juggling everything and I hope you have double glazed windows for the inevitable tennis practice against the wall of the house.
