A tiny heifer calf was born the other day, no larger than a small dog! Kate has named her Honey. Here she is beside another newborn so you can see just how titchy she is.

It’s been a busy week – my dad was in hospital, I was teaching on Wednesday night (Blogging Effectively for Your Business) and delivered a talk at a #webpowwow in Wexford yesterday morning. Even though I’m becoming much more accustomed to talking in public (and Toastmasters has helped a lot), I find the adrenaline coursing through my veins seems to sap my energy afterwards too!

It has been one of those weeks this week, just throw in a visit from a journalist, a wake and funeral (neighbour) and a visit to a hospital to visit a friend and it seems to turn the week into turmoil, well, not quite but certainly busy!
