We Teach Social is going Ploughing

The next two weeks are going to be busy. I’m working away on the book and ended up putting in quite a few hours into the blog awards last week. The short lists were announced late on Friday night and we’ll be sending out forms to judges this week, all set to judge the short listed blogs.

We Teach Social goes ploughing

It’s the National Ploughing Championships next week, it’s quite near to here, about a 15 mile hop, skip and jump over to Stradbally, Co. Laois. Amanda and I (We Teach Social)?have a stand in the Experience Carlow tent and we’re going to be offering free one-to-one social media sessions on all and any of the social media platforms as well as delivering short workshops on the various platforms too. If you would like to pre-book a free training session, do book here. If you know of anyone who is thinking of starting a blog or to use twitter, do tell them about it as many people just need to be showed how to start and off they go. We’re at row T320 which is right beside the NPA HQ, very central, so we’ll be easy enough to find – I hope!

The signage and flyers are being printed and the branded T-shirts have arrived. ?We’re going to be offering significant discounts for all courses booked at the Ploughing and do keep an eye on the #digitalwellie hashtag too for tips and prizes. We’ll be there Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday so do call in to say hello or to pick up some social media tips. If you can’t make it, send us a tweet! Some farmers on twitter are meeting at 2pm on Wednesday at the bandstand for a tweetup and are using the hashtag #pctup so do go along to that too if you can.
