I love going for a cycle and once the twice daily feeding of calving has eased, I’m intending to get out for a cycle most days in May. There is a particularly nice route nearby which is about 8 miles long and takes me through a picturesque village, over stone bridges and babbling brooks.
We had a lovely time on holidays even if we are all exhausted now and suffering with headcolds! We went to Euro Disney for 4 nights and although it was cold, it was milder than we expected. The children enjoyed the parades but a sign that they are growing up is that they weren’t bothered about queuing to meet any of the characters. We got one photo with Mickey (no queue) and that was it!
I went to the Women and ?Agriculture conference in Kilkenny today which was organised by Mairead Lavery and the team at Irish Country Living (of the Irish Farmers Journal). ?When I walked in, the first stand I saw was that of ‘magic’ window washing equipment and I thought ‘oh no’ – are they going to be pigeon holing us like that! We had our annual get together on Saturday with Lisa of the Nenaghgal blog and Ruth, editor of Munster Interiors. We had planned to go to Russborough and Will was quite excited about the maze there but luckily Ruth was very organised and had phoned to check and it was closed for the day due to a visit from the President! So we ended over to Emo Court instead.
